Beer And Back Again
Take a tour through time while sipping on London’s famous tipples in the heart of the city. We all know the British love to drink beer, but how did this come about? Enjoy this educational and thirst quenching tour around five of London’s most significant pubs as we time travel through the centuries discovering London’s history of drinking, all the way to today’s craft beer scene.
We’ll discuss some quirky facts about alcohol you didn’t even know you didn’t know: Why do we say cheers? What is the difference between lager and ale? Is there REALLY a pub on every London street corner?
And have a lot of laughs, toasts and maybe even a cheeky quiz at the end to check you were listening and not only drinking…
Your first beer will be provided as part of the tour, and there is plenty of choice at each stop for those who prefer something different. Non-alcoholic beverages are of course available at every stop too.
Whether it is your first time in London, or you’re a local who’s curious about the secrets the city has to offer, this is a great couple of hours learning about something we all love and cherish: London pubs!
